Firm's Responsibilities:  In addition to Henry Stern Quadrangle, Higgins & Gerstenmaier has worked in developing Jepson Hall plaza, the university main entrance design, the Fine Arts building and plaza, and the Alumni House.  The firm has also taken part in studies focusing on campus landscape, signage/gateway, internal circulation analysis, and the Bandy Road site analysis.

Awards:  1995 Inform Award, Virginia Society of the American Institute of Architects;  1995 Excellence in Masonry Merit Award Landscape Design Category, Virginia Masonry Council.
